Russia gives 22 bln rbl to audit IT solutions, decide on future
MOSCOW, Jun 9 (PRIME) – The Russian reserve fund has allocated 21.5 billion rubles for software developers and major industrial companies to audit the existing IT solutions and decide on their prospects, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said on Thursday at a conference.
“The task is to define the level of their development and prospects of their progress and support or creation of new products,” Chernyshenko said.
The country has its own technological solutions, but they need scaling up and bringing to the end user.
“The amount is split into three directions: subsidies of interest on the loans for IT companies, increase of grants for technological projects, and cheap mortgage for IT specialists,” the deputy prime minister said referring to the allocated money.
